Blink Call User Manual

Blink Call is an assistive call system designed for ALS patients. The software uses a camera to recognize preset eye-open and eye-closed actions. After the blink sequence is completed, it plays an alert sound to help the patient notify family members or caregivers when help is needed.

Who This Is For

  • People who have difficulty speaking and cannot easily call out for help.
  • People who have difficulty using their hands and cannot reliably press buttons or use a physical call device.
  • People who can complete simple eye-open and eye-closed actions.
  • Patients whose family members or caregivers can help with the first-time setup.

Before You Start

  • A Windows computer.
  • A working camera.
  • An internet connection, required when downloading model files for the first time.
  • Computer speakers or a Bluetooth speaker.

Download Software (Latest Version: v1.2.2)

Choose any one of the following download options:

Download the latest software package, extract it to any folder, and double-click BlinkCall.exe in the extracted folder to launch the software.

  • If you are using the software for the first time, read First Use.
  • If you need to adjust the call gesture, read Blink Pattern.
  • If you need to adjust the camera, read Camera.
  • If you need to adjust the ringtone or volume, read Audio Alert.
